CircleBlack provides portfolio management and performance reporting software to RIAs, financial instuitutions, custodians, and TAMPs/aggregators. Their award winning software is highly customizable to fit business and investor needs.
Our goal with CircleBlack was to gain more awareness on social media and to meet sales team requests for sales-supporting PDFs (flyers, tear sheets) and videos. The marketing videos we produced are both educational and highly stylized to stand out in the industry.
THE VIDEO COLLABORATION PROCESS We produced 1–2-minute long animated videos for us to showcase CircleBlack's mobile app in various ad campaigns and social media. Our work includes creating animations using their UI, adding music, and editing the audio.
For each video, we keep the process very simple. We first brainstorm what CircleBlack is looking for and discuss ideas. We then come back with a storyboard that they can edit as needed, and go back and forth until it is ready; it is a very collaborative process. We then produce the video and make changes if needed. The whole process usually takes a couple of weeks until the finished video is ready for use.
THE DIRECT RESULTS The videos we produced have accomplished exactly what CircleBlack was looking for. They have used them a lot for LinkedIn ads, and the metrics for the people viewing the videos have increased; they’re very successful.
Thanks to these videos, CircleBlack's content is more engaging and looks much more professional. They're getting very positive feedback from their clients and LinkedIn followers, and people know who they are, which is what our project goal was.
